The Tica Kazumi Galactic surf casting rods are expertly crafted from 40T high modulus interwoven carbon fiber, ensuring superior quality. This 4.3m 3-piece slim line blank is equipped with a high-strength graphite hybrid tip, delivering enhanced power and precision during casting. Additionally, the hybrid tip boasts a reflective finish, ideal for night fishing scenarios. The rod butt is designed with an ergonomic palm swell, ensuring consistent hand placement for each cast, instilling confidence in precise casting abilities.The Tica Flash Surf FS10000 surf reel provides anglers with precision engineering and a remarkably smooth feel at an affordable price. Weighing a mere 535 grams, it's an excellent choice for assembling an ultra-light surf combo. Carbon material is utilized for the frame, rotor, and handle, ensuring a lightweight yet sturdy build.
This reel features a small lubrication port on the main body for easy access to maintain the main gear. Its 5.2:1 gear ratio operates swiftly and smoothly, supported by 7 RRB ball bearings, resulting in a line retrieval rate of 114cm per handle turn. Equipped with a long shaft and long cast spool, its slow oscillation system ensures optimal line winding without overlap, facilitating perfect long casts. Additionally, the spool line guard system operates quietly.
The spool incorporates a stainless line keeper button, serving as a casting memory device. Looping the line around the button after a perfect cast allows for consistency in subsequent casts, stopping at the exact distance/length of the initial cast.
Moreover, the reel includes an extra drag knob with a quick-set drag featuring an integrated preset control akin to a baitfeeder reel. This feature is ideal for straylining: set the desired maximum drag using the small preset knob after cranking up the main drag, then ease off the main drag to engage Baitfeeder mode effortlessly.
