The Bay of Plenty is one of the best areas in NZ for those deep-drop species. We have developed our ‘Puka rigs to ensure that they are strong enough to deal to the beasts of the bottom!
Decoro Super UV Puka Rigs:
Out of the light spectrum, UV light penetrates the deepest into the oceans, so our SUPER UV rigs are made up of our ultra strong UV impregnated 2.0mm 560lb nylon. Onto this we attach the snoods with sleeved crane swivel rated at 150lb and on the end of these are our grunty Mutsu 32 hooks.
