Description

The Slammer name holds a prestigious reputation in saltwater fishing, known for its unwavering strength and durability in any conditions. Now, PENN introduces the Slammer rod range, representing the pinnacle of high-performance sportfishing rods that combine powerful, lightweight blanks with the renowned Slammer durability. Equipped with tangle-free Fuji K frame guides with SiC inserts, Fuji reel seats, and contoured high-density EVA grips, these rods offer a technical, sensitive, and premium finish.

PENN® utilizes two distinct blank construction methods in Slammer rods, tailored for jigging or casting models. For jigging, the RCB construction features a rolled composite core and longitudinal glass outer layers, providing a lightweight, thin, and flexible parabolic blank, ideal for durability and balance when working jigs in diverse environments, from reef structures to suspended schools of fish in shallow and deep waters.

In contrast, the SLC blanks for casting incorporate inner spiral carbon wraps and longitudinal carbon fibers, offering a robust yet balanced rod with exceptional sensitivity. These blanks cater to various lure actions in both inshore and offshore settings, delivering excellent casting performance and the perfect action for anglers across different environments.

Features:

  • RCB blank construction (technique optimised blanks for jigging models)
  • SLC blank construction (technique optimised blanks for casting models)
  • Fuji K-Series tangle-free guides with SiC inserts and stainless steel frames
  • Lightweight Fuji graphite reel seat with superior strength
