Description
The Azores Blue reel line boasts impressive power features, starting with a die-cast aluminum body, side plate, and rotor. It incorporates a machine-cut pinion gear and the Okuma Dual Force Drag system, combining a conventional top drag stack with an oversized Carbonite drag washer beneath the spool. This configuration enhances both high-end drag output and spool stability under load.
These reels are equipped with dual anti-reverse systems: a one-way clutch bearing complemented by a ratcheting anti-reverse, uniquely molded into the bottom of the rotor. This distinction sets the Azores apart from its competitors. The Mechanical Stabilization System ensures alignment of key components. Additionally, an 8mm brass spool shaft sleeve envelops the 6mm stainless steel spool shaft, significantly enhancing spool stability and drag system alignment, capable of supporting the Azores family's maximum drag output of up to 44lbs of pressure.
