Founded by Chris Wong, Jig Star rods are the culmination of years spent mastering the art of jigging with the world's finest rods from Japan, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and the USA.

Our rods boast impeccable design, meticulously blending Toray High Performance graphite from Japan with cutting-edge resins to create an advanced jig rod design. Attention to detail in aesthetics and minimalistic build results in our lightest Jig Star rods ever, without compromising on strength.

Featuring a metallic grey finish, our blank utilizes high-performance graphite from Toray of Japan, offering extended reach and reduced weight for effortless fishing all day long. The Ninja Overhead rod, our Standard specification model, is equipped with a Fuji PSS reel seat, ALPS SSMNZG guides, and custom componentry for unparalleled performance.

To maintain the blank's natural curve and sensitivity, our rods are bound directly on the guide feet, avoiding any "dead spots" caused by excessive binding. Each Jig Star rod comes complete with a distinctively embroidered rod bag, embodying our commitment to quality and attention to detail.
