The AFTCO Wire Max fishing gloves, designed under the guidance of Captain Peter B. Wright, a renowned figure in big game fishing and an IGFA Hall of Fame member, stand as the ultimate saltwater fishing gloves specifically tailored for handling large fish.

Constructed with closed-cell EVA foam and resilient Armortex® material, these gloves provide comprehensive coverage across the hand, lining the palm, fingers, and thumb to ensure maximum protection while handling mono, wire, or cable leaders. The inclusion of the durable Tacky-Grip palm and Spandura® forchettes significantly enhances dexterity, enabling a secure grip and improved hand movement.

Featuring foam-backed mesh, these gloves effectively regulate finger temperature, keeping them cool and safeguarded during rigorous fishing activities. Moreover, the gloves incorporate a wrap-around neoprene strap with a Velcro® closure positioned over the woven cuff, ensuring a secure fit while also repelling leader snags, offering added convenience and safety during leader handling.
